The “Vision”: |

To enable and empower underprivileged schools, schoolchildren, and communities in greater Bangladesh with first-rate educational tools to become first-rate graduates measured by any global standard.

The “Mission”: |
|
To introduce, implement and ensure continuity of modern teaching tools, methodologies with capable educators by utilizing information and communication technologies (ICT) and the Internet to narrow the digital divides, and support young people's access to the ILC (Internet Learning Centers) and the community's access to the Information Superhighway.

Tools and Targets: |
|
|
To select and provide Internet Learning Centers (ILCs), including all relevant hardware, software and peripheral equipment across underprivileged Bangladesh. To establish and/or maintain access to the Internet. |
|
To create team of “core” educators through training in computer utilization, Internet education, and teaching methodologies who will, in turn, train “lead” teachers from the target schools. |
|
To enhance the capacity (knowledge and/or skills) of underprivileged students in basic subjects. |
|
To increase the quality and quantity of educational resources and tools accessible through information technology and to support involvement of youth and local community. |
|
To organize and facilitate “knowledge sharing” via national seminars and international exchanges for program, designed to share experiences and ideas and to increase communication between participants. |
|
To transform school-based ILCs into active community resources serving as hubs to mobilize communities, to sustain educational activities, and to provide growth opportunities for the local businesses via skills trainings and awareness building campaigns. |
|
To develop and execute plan with local community in two key areas: gender equity and functionality and financial sustainability of the Internet Learning Centers after the project ends. |
